The Bridge School is excited to announce the AAC-CVI Framework, adapted from work at Penn State University.

Creating a room where light and competing noise will not interfere with the assessment means covering windows with fabric and notifying staff that the room is in use. Ultimately we are trying to create an optimal viewing environment that allows us to change the conditions based on what we want to know more about (e.g., how does light/lack of light or background noise/lack of background noise affect a student’s viewing pattern).

One way we prepare the room is to place black fabric over the door window in the assessment room to block out light which would interfere with the assessment procedures.
